We're Nottinghamshire Wedding and Family photographers, with a studio based in Sherwood Forest (perfect for family photo-walks to the Major Oak!) - and always very happy for bookings in beautiful places across the Midlands and beyond! We specialise in natural documentary-style photography for weddings, families, babies and pets - life's happy moments - keeping things relaxed, friendly, and full of real personality ❤
OUR STORY...
We began in 2010 as LOVEphotography (this is the name you'll see in most of our reviews), starting out as a small family portrait studio in Hockley, Nottingham. Over the years, we've been so happy that many families asked us to photograph their weddings (and their friends weddings) too - so now we capture around 30-40 weddings each year!
After 15 magical years as weLOVEphotography, we moved our studio in 2025 to Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire and launched Forest Fox Photography in January 2026 — a fresh, bright, joyful rebrand that better reflects who we are now: modern, colourful, and all about capturing happy memories with warmth and personality.
WHAT WE LOVE....
Based in Nottinghamshire, we love travelling all over the Midlands! We love capturing natural moments and memories of time spent with the people, pets and places you love — photos that feel fun, authentic and full of life!
For weddings we're very much documentary-style photographers, we capture the key moments, naturally blending in so we can capture the candids and in-between moments too! But we're also family photographers - so if you'd love family photos that are fun and directed in a relaxed and natural way - then we're the perfect blend of both. We even pack a penguin puppet in our bag, ready to entertain the little ones so they smile naturally (works great on the grown ups too!). Then for couples photos we take you for a little walkabout, so this can be as candid, creative or as editorial as you like - ideally a blend of them all! Gives you a little break together before you go back to the party, and is often my favourite part of the day to capture, especially if we time it for beautiful golden hour or sunset!
Our relaxed style is perfect for anyone who's camera shy or neurodiverse — we adapt and blend right in ninja style so you don't notice we're there, and other times we're there to help you relax, take time to be in the moment, and let us capture you naturally.
